2020, the year of perfect vision as I have heard so many say however I see it a little differently. A little information before we dive deeper. 20/20 vision has been mistakenly referred to as perfect vision by many of us when in essence and as defined by the American Optometric Association:
20/20 vision is a term used to express normal visual acuity (the clarity or sharpness of vision) measured at a distance of 20 feet. If you have 20/20 vision, you can see clearly at 20 feet what should normally be seen at that distance. Having 20/20 vision does not necessarily mean you have perfect vision. 20/20 vision only indicates the sharpness or clarity of vision at a distance.
With that said, I believe this is a season where God is allowing for us and those around us, including our children, to see things with clarity unlike no other time. Things that have always been in front of us yet further than “20 feet”, will now be close enough so that our ability to focus, see clearly and sharpness will be enhanced. Some things will even be within reach and other things will actually come to pass.
Revelation is beautiful but can be a painful also. Be prepared because with this sharpened sight, we will see things about ourselves and others that we may not want to see but it’s necessary in this season that we see them. Have no fear, because seeing these things are necessary for our understanding, protection, healing and overall growth. He’s revealing suppressed events. He’s revealing and positioning those who need to be around you and removing those who do not. Even when painful, it’s necessary so be thankful for what you can see in yourself, your kids, other loved ones and whoever is positioned around you because then you will better understand your discerning spirit and how to pray and speak over those matters. Praying in the spirit, with specificity and power, brings a powerful shift that results in wonders, signs and miracles being witnessed. But be mindful, you will only see when you have the desire to see. Closed eyes will never know if sight has been enhanced.
I saw the picture below on Facebook and instantly knew it was confirmation. This is a year of miracles!

Our new found clarity will also allow us to see the very things we have spoken over our lives prior and much more. There really is power in our tongues. Life and death sits right at the tip so reflection and awareness of our mindset, words and actions remain critical. God is about to show us what it looks like when we have been faithful over a few things and kept believing, in and out of season. The shift started before we even hit the new year. Though we face challenges, I know that my kids and I, and some of our loved ones are already getting better, getting stronger in spirit, mind and body. Glory to God! We are already coming within reach of things we’ve hoped for and things we’ve never seen or imagined. It’s about to blow our minds!
So get ready to have an amazing 2020! A year filled with better understanding and increased sharpness. A year of miracles! I’ve already seen miracles happen at the end of 2019 and within the past 10 days of 2020 and there are many more to come. It’s been an emotional week for me as things have been revealed in my life and for others around me however I know that this is the test and the catalyst to increased clarity, healing, answered prayers and so much more. God is working in us and through us and I give Him all glory.
May God’s peace and grace be with you as we keep pressing forward.
Sincerely,
Tameka
