Late In the Midnight Hour…

As the new year approached, I committed to growing deeper in my relationship with God; making stronger connections with fellow believers; sharing more and encouraging more; sharing my testimony; and believing deep down in my soul that greater is here. I will honestly tell you that trials & tribulations caused me to shy away at one point from sharing and encouraging but glory to God, I’m back! Not only am I back, I am stronger and wiser than I used to be. I am not ashamed to admit that I got off track. And I give God all the glory for cleaning me up, speaking life into me, reminding me of my purpose and getting me back on track. He clearly told me that when I don’t walk in my purpose, the enemy wins. Not today Satan…not today! As a matter of fact, not any other day moving forward because I rebuke you, in the name of Jesus!

So why am I sharing at this hour?

Because God is amazing and woke me up to remind others who may also need this word. I woke up abruptly with my mind racing about two hours ago. I prayed and poured out my heart to God then prepared to go back to sleep when I heard my phone beep. 👀 I thought it was on silent like it always is and instantly grabbed it to put it back on silent. It was a notification that I received my Elijah List so I decided to read it, since I was up. When I say this article blessed me, it blessed me! God can and will use anyone and any outlet to get a word to us. With that said, I am passing the message on (the link is below). Feel free to read this powerful word for yourself. A message that I consider straight from God to me. It was as if he wrote this message about me or at least directly for me. It surely encouraged me this morning! I hope it will do the same for you.

Right now, at this late or what some may say early hour, God is alive and actively at work; He is moving us to greater; He is fighting our battles; He is clearing the path; He is turning it around; He is working for our good; He is able; and He is faithfully guiding us to His promises. Stand on them! We must trust AND obey Him in all seasons including the tough ones. We must have courage and faith to go where He wants us to go and do what He called us to do, even when it seems tough.

May God’s peace and grace be with you.

  1. Great blog Tameka, praise God for his direction in your life. Nothing wrong with admitting getting off track especially when it is God who takes it all and uses it for His glory. He will cause all things to work for good to them that love Him and are called according to His purpose. And your story will definitely bless someone that needs to know that He is able to deliver, direct and set free. Stay strong and courageous and continue to be led by the Spirit of God. Whether on the mountain top or in the valley low….He won’t leave you. He will leave the 99 to come after His one child that’s getting off track. Praise God. Thanks for sharing. Proud of you.
